Now for something completely

For this review, we've got a
Facebook-type of social-networking site created entirely for
trainers and coaches.
This is a great concept - it
allows you to interact and network with like-minded people
in the coaching profession. Doesn't matter what sport or activity
- we're talking Little League all the way to Olympic athletetics
coaches here.

This is one of my new favorite resources,
which in this case is an awesome social networking site specifically
designed for trainers and coaches. If you've used other social networking
sites like MySpace, FaceBook, or LinkedIn, you already understand
the premise, but if you're not familiar, CoachBook allows you to
put yourself out in front of a large number of your colleagues and
potential clients.

There's a saying out there (can't
remember the proper attribution) that "The main difference
between you now and 5 years from now is the books you read and the
people you meet." And believe me, if you're not out there exchanging
tips and tricks with professional colleagues, you better be reading
a lot of books because you're not likely to make much professional
progress otherwise!
